Uche Anslem Akunebu is the MD/CEO, Stone Touch Communications, Limited, Abuja a company that engages in Books Publishing, Public Relations/Marketing, Agribusiness, Tourism and Allied Services.

Anslem is a dedicated media professional and academic who has contributed to media and academic excellence, as well as organizational growth and leadership in the country.

He worked with The Nigerian Statesman, Owerri as a features writer between1993-1998 where he had the responsibilities of writing opinions articles, writing features articles and writing news stories. Between 1998 and 2003 Dr. Uche worked with The National Post, Owerri, as a senior features writer with responsibilities in writing on contemporary issues and feature articles.

Between 2004 to date he has been working with The International Institute of Journalism, Abuja as a Lecturer with the responsibilities to teach news writing and reporting, specialized writing and reporting, magazine writing and production.
It is worthy of mention that Dr Uche is also the Institute’s orator. All these experiences helped him to build his editorial/proofreading skills and experience spanning several years. He established Stone Touch Communications, Limited in 2012 and had made a huge success of his career.
Dr Akunebu is a proud author of 20 books, among which is the best seller “A Press Man and His Pen”. He Holds a professional diploma in Security Management and Technology. He has Higher National Diploma in Mass Communication and holds a Bachelor Degree in History including a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations and Advertising.

He has a Master’s Degree in International Relations as well as a Masters of Arts in Religious Studies. He was also awarded a doctor of Literature.
Dr Uche is a multi-disciplinary mind. He is quick in thinking and issues analysis. He is Married to the beautiful Amaka, a medical doctor, after whom he named one of his books on poetry” Amaka” and they are blessed with beautiful children.

A graduate of Insurance, a Chartered Insurance practitioner (ACII) of the Chartered Insurance Institute, UK and Fellow of Insurance Institute of Ghana. (FCIIG).

Chief Alex-Duduyemi holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Paris Graduate School of Management – France, Specializing in International Business.

Holder of Bachelor of Laws Degree (LL.B) from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (Gimpa). He is a certified Cognitive Skills trainer from LearningRx – USA.

He has over 32 years of working experience in Insurance Industry with over 30 years of post-qualification experience (Brokerage, life and General Business) with good knowledge of underwriting, claim processing and negotiations.

Having occupied the positions of General Manager and COO of Life and General underwriting, coordinated sales and marketing activities and bringing the companies into profitability both existing and start-up

Chief Alex-Duduyemi has extensive knowledge of Administration and management, fostering good relationship with key partners/stakeholders – Brokers, Clients and regulators and he possesses excellent interpersonal skill couple with good knowledge of West-African Insurance Market.

He has over five years in franchising, being the Country Director of BrainRx Ghana Limited (cognitive skills/brain trainer),

He is deeply involved in training of trainers, coordination of the Country’s centers activities, consultations with parents and liaising with donor agencies, educational institutions and government agencies.

Born in 1968 to the Royal family in Lafia, Nassarawa State, young Ali attained most of his academic qualifications in Lafia, Nassarawa State.

Ali is a Higher National Diploma graduate of Business Administration from Nassarawa State Polytechnic, Nassarawa State.

He commenced his work life at Teekay Printing Press in 1980 understudying the Printing business from his uncle. He acquired knowledge of Direct Imaging, Image Transfer, Graphic Design and CD Printing.

He joined the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing from 1989 and served meritoriously up to year 2010. He left government service in 2010 and set up AUTA PRINTING PRESS, where he remained the founder and Managing Director. In addition to the Printing Press, Ali is blessed and has been successful in his other fleet of private businesses till date. He loves meeting people, reading and travelling. He is married and blessed with children.

Sukanmi has over ten years demonstrable, target driven stint in underwriting, Business Development and Operations. He is highly experienced in People Management, Business Development, Customer Management and Account Management he is an expert in risk management strategy and management efficiency. He has an extensive analytical skill that have been demonstrated through managing business development teams.

He has practical experience in risk management and business development. He has been using various techniques for business implementation to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets. Good experience in trade marketing, development and management of sales across various channel (Direct & Indirect). He is skilled in administrative and operational functions. A very motivated individual that believes teamwork is sine-qua-non to a successful business.

Sukanmi holds a National Diploma in Food Science and Technology from the Federal Polytechnic Ilaro, Ogun State, Nigeria. He obtained his B.Sc. degree in Microbiology from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye Ogun State, Nigeria and a Master’s of Science (MSc.) in Public Health (Epidemiology) University of Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria.

He is an Associate Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) with over 8 years post qualification experience and a Fellow, Chartered Institute of Environmental and Public Health Management of Nigeria.

He started his insurance career with Mutual Benefit Assurance Plc as a Risk Advisor/ Marketer in 2008. He worked with the Company for about a year and left to join Capital Express Assurance Limited in 2009 as Assistant Manager and staff of the underwriting team. He was promoted in 2012 as Unit Head Special Products Unit. Part of his responsibility was facilitating the training of the junior underwriters on the insurance underwriting policies and strategies to improve product quality on his team.

He championed the designing and shaping of the underwriting manuals for the unit while evaluating the financial position of the company and attending all audit meetings. He also managed the underwriter’s team and handled the preparation of weekly, Monthly and Quarterly reports for Management decision. Between January, 2015 and December 2015, he was Head Credit Control of Capital Express Assurance Plc.

He was Head Corporate Businesses of the same company between January 2015 and October, 2016 when he resigned to pursue his dreams of lecturing.

By June, 2017 he commenced teaching certificate course in Insurance, Insurance, Legal and Regulatory program in insurance at the Remtop Insurance Training Institute.

He served as the Director of Marketing and Operations at Galaxy Prostarscord Concept Limited in January, 2019 up to 2021. He was appointed MD/CEO of Triumph Insurance Brokers Limited in 2021 subject to NAICOM approval. He has attended several trainings, seminars and workshops in both within and outside the country.
